Mr. Sheldon Thomas

Mr. Sheldon Thomas is a seasoned finance and accounting professional whose career spans more than thirteen (13) years across both local and international markets. He has built a solid reputation for strategic financial management, credit analysis, and business development within the financial services sector.

Mr. Thomas holds an International Master’s of Business Administration (IMBA) with a specialization in International Finance from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business (ALJGSB). His academic qualifications also include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Anglia Polytechnic University (UK) and a Diploma in Management from the Association of Business Executives (ABE), London.

Mr. Thomas has further strengthened his professional expertise through specialized certifications. He successfully completed the Certified Credit Professional (CCP) Programme, offered by the Institute of Banking and Finance Trinidad and Tobago and the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI). In addition, he has earned a Professional Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management, awarded through the ALJGSB in partnership with the Trinidad and Tobago Risk Management Institute (TTRMI)—the only institution locally and regionally offering this specialized credential.

In his current capacity as Manager – Marketing and Business Development, Mr. Thomas is responsible for elevating the Bank’s corporate profile, driving strategic marketing initiatives, and leading new business development efforts. His role places him at the center of stakeholder engagement, strategic market positioning, and the expansion of the Bank’s service offerings.
